About

I am a journalist, photographer, and editorial writer with experience in reporting, photojournalism, and audio script writing. In 2016, I graduated from the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design Summa Cum Laude with a concentration in photography and a minor in Spanish Language. Between my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I briefly moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I worked at a photography school as an assistant.

I received my graduate degree in New Arts Journalism from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am currently working on turning my thesis - a long form work of media criticism about the so-called “Sexypath” trope in TV and film - into a book.

I always seek ways to integrate my expertise in different media, often overlapping my skills as a photographer, writer, and audio editor. Why do one thing when I can do everything, all at the same time?

Professionally, I am interested in criticism, audio storytelling, and entertainment, and would love to work with an organization that is dedicated to exploring the broader cultural context of popular media. I'm a dedicated, hard worker with excellent time management skills, and I benefit from a work environment that is challenging, spontaneous, and collaborative.
